How to Choose a Scent Sample Booklet for Home and Car

Quick answer

To choose a scent sample booklet for home and car, start by identifying the fragrance family you prefer, then select a booklet that features top-selling scents from that category. Look for a format that lets you lift a scent film to test each fragrance without opening a bottle.

How to choose your scent sample booklet in 3 steps

1. Identify your preferred scent family: Think about whether you like floral, citrus, woody, or fresh scents. If you are unsure, choose a booklet with a variety of top-selling fragrances to discover what works for you. If you already know you dislike a certain scent family, avoid booklets that feature it heavily.
2. Check the booklet's format and reuse: Look for a booklet that uses a lift-and-sniff film rather than open vials. This keeps the samples fresh longer and lets you revisit scents multiple times. Avoid booklets with single-use sprays or pads if you want to compare scents over several days.
3. Match the booklet to your intended use: If you plan to use the scent in both your home and car, pick a booklet that clearly states the samples work for both spaces. Some booklets are designed for one or the other. Double-check that the booklet includes enough samples to test in each environment before you buy a full-size product.
